Here’s a new song I wrote after talking with God and trying to figure out the whole Christian walk. The song is based off of First John 2:15-17 – “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him…“. The song isn’t finalized, but I wanted to share a little of what I’ve been learning and trying to figure out. I so much needed this today. This scripture spoke to me in such a explosive way. I’m battling with my parents who claim to be believers but have spread gossip and wrote me today to tell me I’ve been taken out of their will. I chose to divorce my ex for alcohol, drugs and porn and emtional abuse and they have taken his side over mine and helped him thru lies to get custody of my youngest son. It’s been a long hard battle but I know my God is my strength and he has never failed me and I will always stand on his word. Thank you Israel for being obedient to the Lord and the Holy Spirit!!!
